Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

And you are having a successful incubation with humidity in the 20's? What are you hatching?

Help baby chick has strange bugs on it

When I used to have to dust my birds I'd wait until everyone is on the roost at night, it takes no time at all.

I think it is better left as a treatment if you do have lice or mites. You don't want them building a tolerance to it

Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Dune: Part 2, fantastic, very detail oriented, but yet again, you get sucked in right when it is getting good and DONE, waiting for part 3. Zero complaints, 5 stars

You can absolutely get chicks from other people, you just need to know who they are and what their husbandry practices are like. I sell lots of chicks every year

    Chicken won't leave nest

Give it 2 days, then let her out about an hour before roost time, if she goes to roost she's good to go, if she goes back to the nest, back in the clank for another couple days

There are lots of different products with permethrin, most of the time I buy the hi-yield livestock and garden dust from my local feed store for $7. Sevendust can also be used.

Yep, it was storming all night. Almost 4 inches in the rain gauge at work this morning. I'd say stay dry, but I think that's impossible at this point, lol. Stay safe!

You need to make sure the chicks have been puffed with the powder and the brooder needs to be completely cleaned out, dusted, then refilled with whatever substrate you are using for bedding. Relax, I know they're gross, but all will be well.

A permethrin powder is your best bet

I got lucky with the last 2 sets, they were broody raised, my serial broody dahlia is thinking about it so 🤞 this all pans out, lol.
