Howdy! I'm looking to purchase some Hatching eggs of any breed of chicken! If anyone has some available or soon to be available please let me know ASAP I will purchase anything.
Each day they get a LIL bit bigger and looking back through this thread makes me sad to see them grow but also appreciate this breed more. Such beautiful birds! If anyone watching this thread has any lovely pictures of your Malayoid chooks I’d love to see em!
While it’s sad the other chickens passed in the incident new life is always very exciting! My condolences on your loss but I wish you nothing but the best with your newly established flock family! Like I said before please update this thread further as your lovely chicks mature!
I’ll be watching!
Personally I’d say leave the chicks with the mama, they know how to raise their kids far better than we do in most cases. Obviously not all hens are meant to be mothers but I’d just keep an eye on her and make sure she’s doing all the things she should
Boy is it starting to warm up out here! But the chicks love the heat and spend a lot of the day basking in the California sun enjoy these pictures of my lil guys and galliformes
No updates as of today however the chicks are doing well and very social with me! I've also noticed I started posting these lovely chicks after they were quite a bit older! so please enjoy this video of the chicks when they were still young and merely exploring the outside
Adorable little guy! thank you so much i'm sure you as much as anyone know how little information is out there for some of these breeds so seeing a chick in a similar state to mine does reinforce.
Crazy late response I know! I was going back through my old account posts and saw you had replied to me! I use CSP (Clip studio paint) for all of my pieces my online name is EvolutionAntix if you'd like to find my deviantart I'm also working on a speculative evolution project on instagram called...
I've owned chickens for years now but usually ones with a substantial amount more facial feathering haha, My main worry more so was the patches of featherless skin on the jaw where the wattles are and near the eyes etc. But despite my research on this breed before purchase I am certain to miss a...
I’ve got an Indio Gigante cockerel outside with the other chicks and I assumed the loss of feathering on his face was normal for a breed I know loses the majority of their face feathers but recently a friend of mine told me it looks like fowl pox early on and the one comment alone has made me...
