We dust our coop every month with First Saturday Lime. It's a great natural product for flea and mites as well as keeping odor down. I still need to treat the yard where the dogs and chickens spend their days. I need to know what I can treat my yard with that is safe for the chickens.

Wanted to say hi. You helped me with my brahma chick when he was little. Wanted to share a pic of him now at 6 mos old. His name is Boudreau and he is the best Cockrell/ rooster with 10 girls to keep up with daily.

The break isn't broke. There is swelling above Nasal passages. She started moving and eating. So maybe she'll be fine. Thanks for your reopens!

Also, what can you give a chicken for pain?

My 16 wk BCM had a lid fall down on her beak nasal area. She had a drop or two of blood. She won't eat and is quiet and lethargic. There seems to be swelling at top of beak . Any suggestions on how I can help her?

I have to jump in here. I am dealing with 2 Cockrell that are 15 or so wks old. Came in a batch of 10 that were suppose to all be females...haha... yeah right. I have just added 5 adult females to my flock that are already laying. Omg... it's been a fun week. Both Cockrell are going crazy...
