I've been gone about 6 or 7 years. Since then I've had both my kids graduate and move from home, the hubby broke his leg, I've gone back to school, thought we were moving at one point and didn't, had severe financial issues, but now are on the recovering side of things and trying to take it...

As much as I loved my BLRW, the raccoons loved them more and completely wiped out my flock in 2011. I haven't gotten any more since due to things going on and not having the time (or money) to invest in a new flock. Maybe one day I'll look into raising them again.

I have two female ringneck doves I keep, and every couple of weeks they each lay a pair of eggs. The past few months, my white one has been having issues when laying eggs. She becomes lethargic for about a day or two, will sit in the bottom of the cage rather than the nest box, and won't feed...

I ended up putting some old wire cattle panels over my 16 x 16 x 8 pen. Mine figured out how to get out of the poultry netting.
