Ok, a couple more goofy sun bathing pictures for fun, lol! My daughter had to hold her head up, or she would have slid off.🤣

No changes to comb. Nearing 7 weeks old. 99.9% sure on pullet. Updating for those who like to see age pictures for gender comparison. Don't mind her crazy head feathers. She was quite groovy on the sunshine. I have another pic of her flat out on her side in the lap, with one foot sticking up. Omg🤣🤣

Good tips. I did remember a lady close by on a Craigslist add last year. I'll have to check that again. It's just you're very limited on finding pullets from local people. Thank you!

They say they have less variety and availability on those days, which is to be expected. Actually, I'm sure they would have several that we would want though! They hatch in such large numbers and breeds. I was astounded at what they had the last time I was there. I live a little over 2 hrs. away...

Has anyone ever gone to Cackle Hatchery to the store front on a Friday or a Saturday? Do they have many chicks left over? I just need 1 or 2 buddies for my chick that may be hatching this Sunday. I know Cackle hatches on Monday and Wednesday. I've been there on a Thursday before, but didn't know...
