    Bantams I can’t figure out

TSC got me. I don’t have much experience, period, certainly not with bantams. I think I’ve id’ed most of their breeds but can’t figure out a few. The red and black one, the yellow and that black and white turd. The last has been soooo slow to feather in!! They are all around 5 weeks now.

    Is this fertilized?

I just cracked open the first of our eggs today. The girls started laying last week. I am only confused as we have 4 supposed pullets together. No one crows, looks like a rooster or does rooster-y things to the others that I've seen. So maybe it isn't fertilized and I'm just imaging things.

Modifying a doghouse for quarantine coop?

Will 2 silkies be okay with 4 bigger hens?

I have 4 hens, 8-10 weeks old. There are 2 Barred Rock, 1 Red Sexlink and 1 red production, I believe. A few weeks after we got them, I finally found some silkie chicks near me and got three. One didn't make it so now we have just the 2, 4 weeks old so no idea of sex yet. My question: I...

TSC said Red Sex Link pullets but...?

They were both from the same bin at TSC on 4/28. They were labeled just hatched red sex link pullets. I trusted the store too much (I know better now lol) but these chicks look so different from each other. I can't tell if it's due to being different genders or if they're different breeds...
