3 week flock and 3 day flock

Hey! Got 4 new chicks today (2 Wyandotte and 2 RIR). After about 24hrs, to settle from being new, are they ok to integrate to my 3 week flock currently in the brooder? Thanks!

Isa Brown - Roo or Hen

This is Maisy, she’s a 9 week old Isa Brown. This is my first time with chicks/chickens. She has a much more aggressive personality than her siblings. However, she looks pretty dang similar to them. Any thoughts that she could actually be a rooster? Thanks!

    Mucus Poops

My 5 week old Cream Legbar has had mucus stools the last 24hrs. Eating, drinking, and foraging like usual. No others in the flock with this stool. Any ideas? Thanks!

    2 Coops

I have two different flocks at this point. 5 chicks that free range most of the day and are in a coop that accommodates 6 chicks at night. My other flock is 4 chicks. These chicks will free range during the day once they are big enough. Is it ok to set up another 6 chick coop or do I need to...

    Flock Addition - Breed/Name help

Chicken math got us lol. Here are our four new chicks from TSC. The only one I think was mislabeled was #2 if someone could confirm! #1 - Rhode Island Red Pullet #2 - supposedly a Sapphire Easter Egger, but due to the feathered feet and smaller size I’m thinking a Porcelain D'Uccle. So he/she...

    Feed Mix

Our flock of 6 has been getting Purina Organic Starter/Grower from TSC since we brought them home. They are around 3 weeks old and have been moved outside. It is ok to add this Free Range Blend scattered across the run with grit added while still having the Purina in their chicken feeder? They...

    Night Time - Food

This is my first go with chicks. I got the OK to leave them in the run and coop overnight given the temps. They’re around 3wks. Do I place the feeder/water in the coop overnight or just leave it in the run for daytime? Thanks

    Short Outside Exploring?

My chicks are 2-3 weeks old. Temps are about 60-70 degrees during the day. Could they do little outside trips for a few hours? Is that warm enough? Thanks!!

Dolly Parton or Darius Rucker - Golden Comet Chick

We got this sweet chick, Dolly Parton, listed as a golden commet pullet. I was skeptical because of how light she was. As she’s maturing her comb is more pronounced than the other chicks and she’s getting lighter and lighter. Do y’all think Dolly Parton is actually a Darius Rucker? Thanks!

    What are we?

I think this is a Golden Comet (front) and a Rhode Island Red (back)? Any thoughts? Thanks

    Cream Legbar Chick Sick?

We just got a cream legbar chick. When we got home we realized she had tons of stool stuck near her vent. We did an epsom salt to get most off, but noticed maybe an abscess which now looks open? She’s also walking a bit unsteady. We separated her from the other because they would not stop...

    New to chickens!

Hey there! This is our first go at chickens and chicks! We got our chicks from TSC. We’re trying to confirm the gender/breed of what we were told. (2) Isa Brown Pellets (granted they have different wing structures of that matters in this breed) (2) Easter Eggers Straight Run (we think one...
