I love it! I'm elated that I can buy it anywhere now. Having to go through a pain specialist for it was a pain in the posterior! Pun fully intended. Stink is better than tears from pain. ;)

Biofreeze is the bomb... I use it along with 1000 mg of Bayer Back & Body...unless the pain gets to an intolerable level then it's Tramadol time and the crib.

My time and energy is so limited I tend to garden with the el-naturale approach. Plus, I'm blessed with great soil. I didn't use anything in my soil other than coffee grounds, egg shells, leaves and whatever grass clippings landed there by the wind as the mower passed by. I till once before...

ILADS...and the IDSA have been in a piss fest over Lyme testing for some time now...opinions are like butts...everyone has one. ;) When I have a flare up, I still don't know if it's the FMS or the Lyme...but sever joint/muscle pain with me is treated the same way regardless of which culprit...

    Gardening for Old Folks (Adaptative)

From what I understand being tested during the first few weeks of illness often test negative, because there’s not enough antibodies in the bloodstream to be detected. Your doc should treat based on your symptoms, environment and personal stuff even if you test negative. That wasn't an issue...

My milk jug tomatoes...the bf gives me the "you're odd" look when I start mine jugs. I take a milk jug as it is...no cutting...yet. I drill about 5 little holes in the bottom for drainage. I drop a couple handfuls of pebbles into the jug. I funnel soil into the jug, filling it about 1/3...

Get tested...and make sure they do both tests...ELISA and the Western blot. First one is a screening...the blot confirms the disease.

Survivor...eh...I'm unfortunately one of the small percentage of folks diagnosed with CLD (chronic Lyme disease). My initial symptoms mimicked the flu and a flare up of my fibromyalgia so I wasn't diagnosed early for Lyme. Heck, I never thought of Lyme...just thought I had The Crud and a FMS...

Great thread idea! As each year passes, I have more difficulty tending to the garden. Lyme Disease, arthritis, yada, yada, yada...can really put a damper on crap. I'm going to be lurking quite a bit here if you all don't mind. :caf
