In my blue and lavenders the tails seem to grow slower. They are Ameraucana, Orpington and crosses of those or a cross of Ameraucana and Phoenix. They all have or had spars tails as juveniles.
So only an antecedent because I've only hatched out one time. My lavender Ameraucana x lavender Orpington produced the most pullets. Seams like only one male out of the eight that hatched.
I caught our coon with a spoon full of wet cat food and put bothe traps at either end of the out door brooder. When the out door brooder has chicks in it, it's the ultimate bait.
