I find my tanks usually used on Craigslist or yard sales. I just got a huge tank for $50 from my dads neighbor. He had a bearded dragon, but he didn’t anymore.
I highly recommend feeding Dubia roaches. Crickets and mealworms are my last choice for feeders because they can bite and harm your lizard.
I have a bearded dragon that’s 6 1/2, a leopard gecko that’s 8, and a water dragon that’s brand new I got on Mother’s Day.
Bearded dragons need greens...
I don’t even know. He’s just a regular type you buy at the pet store. My oldest son got him 8 years ago for getting an a on a test. He stopped paying attention to it so I took him and he’s my buddy. He likes to bite me every time I put down his food. Like a love bite 😂
I have no clue anything...
I have lizards... I highly recommend a Chinese water dragon or a beaded dragon. I used to have a ball python... I wouldn’t get that particular snake again. Geckos are nice too! There are too many options 😂
What does he eat?
So I know this may sound bad to some (to me it’s just the circle of life, everything needs to eat), but I learned that many bigger reptiles will eat chicks. Our rehabilitation zoo here feeds chicks to their reptiles and bigger birds to the gators.
Yeah I believe so. I got her quite a while ago. My black bunny is 2 years old already and the white one is a year old. I believe my oldest chicken is 7 this year and she is still laying eggs (we got her from someone else). My 2nd oldest is 4 I think. My animals are getting old.
Joey is doing great! He eats like crazy. He upgraded to the 2nd largest size roaches the other day. He eats about 4-6 daily. Thinking about starting a new tote so that we have plenty.
Fostering is so hard but so rewarding! We foster with a rescue that deals with pit bulls and bully breeds. They are some of the most misunderstood breeds. Our adopted dog was chained to a tree for years, she is now a couch potato 🤣 she loves going on walks and running with our dogs.
You have a good variety. Owning a ton of animals is only for the insane people like me 😂 I can’t say no... I failed at fostering because I adopted her! Now I’m thinking about fostering again!
I raise my own Dubai roaches for feeders. They’re more nutritious and better feeders than anything I’ve ever tried. They don’t stink, they rarely die, and they bulk up on feed more than most feeders.
