I’m done hatching but my girls have a mind of their own so now I’ve got 3 broody Orp hens sitting on eggs again. They will be due to hatch sometime before or on this upcoming Halloween. 🎃

I have one hen who’s still acting broody even though she’s not sitting on any eggs. I think I might just bring her out to the country so she snaps out of it.

It’s okay. Mine aren’t exactly “perfect” either but I’m doing my best. I’m planning to split them into 2 separate groups next year…I’ll have BB with his own set of girls and Colt’s chocolate Orp cockerel “Coconut” separated in a different group.
