So, im a sucker for chickens being sold at fairs and might find myself getting some bantam wyandottes. Was wondering (out of curiosity) what the outcome for breeding these could look like.
The colors (solid, not laced) are black, chocolate, and white.
What could some of the color combos come...
Wow! Thats interesting. I had no idea. Thanks so much! Good to know because as of now i have 4 Japanese bantams, and 4 more about to hatch. Somewhere down the road i might consider selling and i wouldn’t want anything bad like deformities to happen.
Much appreciated! Thank you.
Would it be bad to breed siblings? I know multiple generations it starts getting bad but just curious because im trying to get a good Japanese bantam and hatching some at the moment.
Hi, i have a few questions that might seem silly.
1. When breeding, is it okay to breed offspring to parents/siblings? I think parents is bad and siblings are good? I just want to make sure.
2. When breeding, people say to breed a female breed to a male breed to get this and the opposites...
Hi, these might come off silly but i have a few questions.
If i bred a white japanese bantam rooster (black tipped) with a blue bantam cochin hen, what could i be getting as a end result?
when your writing out genotypes for a bird, are you writing out just the color, or the feather type...
Hi :frow
This question is kind of silly, but.
What would a silkie to bantam cochin look like? Im just curious, because i have seen different things everywhere.
