    After reading the thread I linked to above, I was wondering about this. I've gotten several of these "patchwork" geese from my birds so far, but I couldn't find any pictures of it from other sources. I assumed most people posting pictures of their geese aren't posting crosses.

    This is that same goose at an earlier age. He was still mostly soft grey at this point, but you can see the other colors starting to come in.

    I didn't think it looked buff to begin with. That color is something I get when my Buff Americans breed with my white Embdens. I think it's pretty.
