Well sadly I must have jerks because they don't.

Sadly with all the roosters and other jealous broody hens, I wasn't able to let Puff keep them to raise. So they are bring brooder raised. I will snap some pics of them today, and post them when my internet isn't so bad.

I candled yesterday, one is a dud - nothing in it - the other one is a quiter and one is due in about 2 days and is still going so there is some hope for that one!

I have already named them but will keep the name in mind for next year. There names are: Goldie, Ginger, Coffee, Morgan, Lily, and Lacey! 🥰

Sadly only Sage. 😢 We went to Tractor Supply yesterday and got her 6 Golden Laced Wyandotte's to be her friends. I didn't want her to live alone.

Tator got jealous and bit a whole in Number 13 - it was not forming anyway. I candled the other 12 and they are all forming nicely and moving!

So update - Speckles ate 3 of the hatching eggs a few days ago and I replaced them and took them away from her and gave them to Puff. She hasn't ate any of them and all are developing as of last night, moving, and looking good! So it's now Mama Puff's brood because I found out that Speckles...

So chick update! Speckles keeps escaping from the fenced in place in the coop with a nest box. So she is nested where the hens lay their eggs. Not where I want her to brood but... 😕 Speckles being broody has spread to Tillie and Puff. My Black Sexlink and Light Brahma hens. Tillie has not set...
