oh mine are actually 2 years old and Orpington hens have very red combs. But the black one isn't an Orpington bc she has a flat comb. Your chicks are very beautiful btw.

does the black hen here have a rose comb as well? she was supposed to be an Orpington but she's smaller than the others and has this flat smooth comb. Could anyone clarify what type of comb she has? I can't confirm it myself.
