I love the weight tip and think I'll try it...just hope hubby doesn't lose a gasket 😂
I have to say I question how much those machines actually help. Ours takes 2 hours to wash one load. I set everything to the extra rinse, extra spin, heavy soil, etc. I add heavy rope balls as well to help...
That's a nasty looking break. It's a midfoot bone too and those are harder. But at least it's on the outside rather than smack in the middle. Hope it heals well for you.
We do the high efficiency machines too. Had to get a front loader though because both me and hubbies mom's would fill buckets...
Nice gentle rain here today. I had a bunch of landscape starts to plant out and with the rain forecast I spent a couple days getting them into the ground so the rain could water them in. 2 Arizona ash trees left to plant and a bunch of fresh cuttings to pot.
Picked some greens for dinner...
Absolutely beautiful there!
Hope his dad doesn't make a habit of saying somethings wrong with him in his hearing though. Also hope his dad believes in punishment. Speak softly and carry a big stick really is good advice.
Sorry about your koi.
O man! Awful way to end the year. Hope getting it...
Had to spray my collards down, their covered in aphids. Planted a few different types of lettuce and some more spinach. I've never planted them this late in the year but I'm trying to use up some old old seeds and with the current price of lettuce...it's worth trying. Checked my covered tomato...
Ugh. My youngest was born autistic and I'll never forget one time when she was little. I'd taken her into a gift shop and she got upset because I wouldn't let her have something she wanted. So I tossed her over my shoulder like a sack of potatoes and carried her kicking, screaming and biting...
I grew up with tomato sandwiches ❤️ Nothing but thick slabs of tomato, a little mayo, salt and pepper....yum. My hubby won't try them... he prefers onion sandwiches made with nothing but a thick slab of onion and a little mustard 😵💫🥴🤣
That does sound like heaven ❤️
Ya, I moved my still fuzzy baby ducks outside with a heat lamp to ease the transition and you'll almost never see them under it. Once in a while if they get to soaked.
So glad you're getting some relief already... hope it grows as you heal and the healings fast.
A hermaphrodite! How lucky! Mine are all male or female. I left them out with a cover last year and nature topped them for me 🤣🫣. One ended up rotting down almost to death...I finally got the rot to stop but by then I had less then a foot of trunk left. It has branched out nice from there...
If you build it please post pics so I can live vicariously through you! That sounds amazing 😍.
I used a furniture dolly to move my papayas inside for a cold snap, then placed them by our big east facing window. I've always put em in the big west side window before and they did fine. Well...
Congratulations @chickengr! Sounds exciting. @Sueby I hope your surgery goes well. And hope everyone freezing out there is staying as warm as possible. That's some nasty weather rolling through!
I've never heard of quartering a pineapple crown! I'll have to learn about it😃. Since they started punching the crowns with tags I've had trouble growing them... maybe this will fix the problem.
Hope they make it through for you! Have you ever tried taking a pepper plant cutting? We had a Tabasco that our neighbor loved so I did a cutting and it rooted up beautiful.
I love ginger too for colds/flu. ❤️ I just add a ton of fresh grated to a cup of tea and let it steep, then sip away.
I'm interested in aquaponics. I'd love to see pics of what you guys have going.
I have a crazy to do list right now after 3 years of back to back health issues... female problems, followed by a broken foot, then a brown recluse bite. But I'm feeling like myself again so there's hope my to do...
