Cleaning up the flower bed outside the greenhouse and replacing Hyacinth to Dahlia for the edge

I divided some perennial plants in February and transplanted them about 10 days ago in the soil after their roots were well established.
So far, they are growing well.
I did some cleaning work in my FIL's garden in the morning, so the only thing I want to do in the afternoon is to play with chickens and dogs in our own garden.

The planting in my watermelon hoop tunnel is almost done, and I relocate my four solar lights from the raised beds to this tunnel. Wow, it looks lovely!

These few days we had crazy wind so we stay inside most of the time.
However, sowing and germination are going on. I added some lights in one room in the basement for those seedlings to stay after germination in the dark boiler room, but before going to the cold greenhouse.

Kept digging out dahlias and got a lot of high protein treats for chickens. I didn't know so many grubs (I believe they are from Japanese beetles) can hide inside the root systems of dahlias. Well, a happy day for chickens anyway. :D
