Something (insect culprit) is decimating certain plants in my gardens. Zinnias, peas, peppers, sunflowers. I've started spraying (daily) with insecticidal soap. It's not doing enough to stop them. I've even re-sown peas, spraying them from the moment they sprout. Not helping.

Thank you. Maybe I'll try that. Very honestly, my compost pile is more chicken manure than anything. I do try to add as much vegetation as I can. Pretty tough to get manure to compost without vegetation
I bought jewel berries. I initially thought I wanted everbearing strawberries, but since I plan to freezedry much of them, June bearing will work. The shipping is pretty crazy! But, I'm excited. Thanks, Sueby!

Today I put up another expandable compost bin. My 3rd. Then I flipped the contents of last spring/summer bin into it. Next, I'll need to flip the contents of the fall/winter bin into the newly emptied bin. It's a tedious chore that I hope will pay off. Do any of you add red wigglers to your compost?
