Daww. Sorry to hear that. Yeah, they are kind of snack size for predators. I thought of y'all yesterday because you were wanting a pastel Drake for the longest time and I never did hatch one. A few weeks ago a lady came and got 3 pastels from me and they ALL ended up being drakes she said. 🤦

See I'm not sure on the scrambled egg. But a lot of people start trying to give meal worms and veggies and stuff and I'm thinking they need grit for that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yep. I'd say the stress factor could have had a lot to do with it.

That wasn't a rhetorical question. I have always just been under the assumption that they need the grit if they're eating anything besides feed. Does anyone know if that is fact?

Also .. Don't all birds need some grit if they are going to be eating things like scrambled eggs and stuff? I sometimes wonder if this becomes a problem. People notice they aren't eating so they try to give them all kinds of stuff besides normal feed to get them to eat and perhaps that...
