I was another post about the dyed chicks, and one user said that the red one was a meat bird, and this is the second time I have raised chicks, and I was wondering if these are meat birds...?

the easter chicks are usually extra cockerals dyed an sold cheap to the feedstores.i ended up with 2 easter chicks a few yrs ago.an they was white leghorn roos.

Dj....how old are they? I have 3 week old Cornish X....they are HUGE already compared to my BO...same age. I think the cornish x I have are already about 2, maybe 3 pounds and yes, cornish X are meat birds. Yours look similar to mine. Hope thats what you wanted?

I have dyed easter chicks..my red one is a RIR. My three feathering white are either cornish X if they are female or Leghorns if they are male- this info came from the hatchery. And I agree, yours look like cornish x.
