Silkie hen or Roo?

Hi everyone, I'm new here and learning about chickens everyday. I just got a white silkie about a month and a half ago. It was 6 weeks old and now it's about 12 weeks old. Would you think this is a Roo or a hen? I really wish it's a hen but would still keep it if it was a roo. Thank you for any info you guys can pass on. I really appreciate it.

I thought the first picture and the third picture looked like a pullet. But this is one bird? The middle picture looks like there seems to be longer feathers on the back of the top knot which looks like a cockerel. So, I'm not sure. Roosters will have longer 'streamers' off the back of the topknot. The first and third picture looks like the topknot is round which indicates a possible pullet. Well, I'm not very helpful. lol

Yes, it's the same bird. Maybe the angle of the picture made it look different? Thank you for that though.

I would say its a hen but im not sure. Silkies are extremely hard to tell when they are young lol

Hi there. I’ve got two silkies around 5 weeks old. I’m wondering what their sexes are. I’m pretty certain the orange one is a boy. But the white paint one I’m not sure? Would appreciate hearing what any of you think?
