thank you! i love giving them fruits and greens especially since it’s warming up here in Cali. i want them to be as healthy and happy as possible since they aren’t raised in a big pasture.

the only treats i give them is fresh veggies and fruit and sometimes dried solider fly and mealworms. i should stop giving them those?

interesting thank you! i have little drinking cups attached to a bucket and then a small water dish for them. both have supplements but they don’t really seem to understand how the drinking cup works.

so my chicks are just over 8 weeks old and i’ve been feeding them modesto milling organic chick starter and grower. i am worried the protein may be too high for them. i know people will lower the protein when the chicks reach the growing age. protein is at 22% right now. i do know some people...

we don’t really have predators i live in a gated community. i don’t know what that door is it has never been opened. and we have talk bamboo so that nothing climbs over as well as trees that block animals.

kind of lol. i can do it when i’m with them but i worry they would hop the fence leading to the rest of the backyard and then my dogs would go after them if i’m not there.
