Here's how it turned out

Good evening Home Bakers, today I made apple pie but the aluminum foil around the pan fell off in the oven and I removed it. Does it make a difference whether or not there's foil? The recipe says it is to prevent the edges from browning.

We don't have any room for new chicks :( Maybe in another year or two they'll get a chance to be moms

4, 9, and 11 look like cockerels to me

I have four black Australorps, bought as chicks last April. This year, three of them have been broody and want to be moms. I put one in the broody jail this morning, can anyone with more experience tell me if this is normal or not?

It's looks like a pullet

My easter egger had this problem too when eating, her "beard" would get all covered with watermelon juice. But she got it wet every time she drank so I didn't do much about it
