I have several rescued ex battery hens, my ladies have a lovely life now they took a while to adjust and gain their strength as they were in a pitiful state when we got them but they made it through and will hopefully have many years of proper life ahead of them

Fertility starts decreasing rapidly from around 7 days sooner if they are not stored correctly. Leave them to settle big end up for 24 hours at room temp. Still air temp should be 102 forced air 99.5. Your thermometer is placed perfectly. I aim for 30% humidity for the first 18 days
Are the rabbit drinkers you use? How do you find they get on with them. I've been using the fountain type ones made for aviaries but they empty them so fast

Yes the fan does feel a bit cool I've noticed that. I'd double check with a second thermometer as even with one you trust it could still be off slightly. Have you taken all the plugs out? maybe that would help
