    What age ?

    My girls are on All Flock and it’s fine for laying hens as long as they have oyster shell available for calcium. I don’t like the thought of giving them lower protein layer feed, and I have one girl that no longer lays.

    4 weeks old? You can’t tell cockerels from pulleys at that age.

    I’m blanking on what kind of snake that is, but I also believe it to be venomous. I’d get it out if there somehow! It wouldn’t need to eat the chickens to kill them, just bite them ☹️

    Welcome to BYC! I also live in Atlanta, and suspect we work at the same large research University 🙂 I currently have only 2 Buff Orpingtons, as my Welsummer died just over a month ago ☹️, but I have 2 more pullets coming this summer!
