    How old are they? They look to be about 4 months old, correct? They both look like pullets to me. She's just darker and it looks like she might have lost some tail feathers? Or perhaps the lowers are taking their time growing (thus causing the curl).

    They should be fine outside. Do you still have them on heat? If so, then you might want to have heat on them at night that matches the daily temperature, slowly lowering it each night until they're used to the temperature drops.
