My white hen also laid a couple eggs for me, so those will be going in the incubator as well. My best, quality silver duckwing pullet should be laying any day now, too! :celebrate

🚨 I have exciting news! 🚨 Me, and my dad drew up some plans for a double stack, 8 pen set up for my old English breeding. :) Later on, I will also be adding a 2nd layer on top of my current triplex coop, where I keep all my breeders now. It will be 4 feet tall, 36 inches deep, and 8 feet long...

Thank you. I did get, I think, 5 eggs from her...? So I will be putting all of those in my next round of eggs I set.

I set 45 eggs in the incubator 2 weeks ago, last time I candled them (Thursday night) and I still had 30 alive and very active. I have at least 10 BB red's in this round, I really hope I have more then just 2 hatch. The previous round I put in, one 1 BB red hatched... It was a TERRIBLE hatch.

My little update time: I unfortunately lost my brassy back hen... :( I don't know what happened, the night prior I fed her, let her run around for a while, she seemed fine. But I found her the next afternoon she was pilled up in the corner...

That's awesome! It's always so nice to get extra eggs. Lol

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a cockerel, but ti can still be a pullet. I would wait 2-3 weeks then post again.
