Yep! Some of them are truly awful Pet stores just enjoy making quick money like that. I helped out at a nice pet store once though, the owner of the store would change things as she learned more and more. She even changed the hamster cages for really big ones!

It was pretty rubbish- diy "bin" cages since my folks wouldn't let me get the proper stuff, I was young. But I did my best and have dreamed ever since of doing it again with a better set up!

I swear hamster deaths are always so traumatic.... Thankfully mine died from old age- but we did have a near death experience with Charlie, who very accidently ended up on the floor with my dog standing over him, and sniffing nose to nose... Thankfully she didn't harm him and he was scooped up...

I had two Syrians, obviously at different times. Loved them. First was a lil boy called Charlie, and the next was a lovely girlie called Bella. They were both short haired. Both were given to me by someone who got bored of them within the first year 🤦‍♀️

This is pretty interesting! I'm not sure how much I believe in supernatural stuff, but I certainly enjoy the idea. I'll be sure to lurk and see if I can learn something!
