Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

Hmmm ya sounds like it had some issues going on. I had 2 bantams that I think were positioned right that never internally pipped. Both had veins and yolk sacs absorbed. They just never pipped or attempted to hatch. Sometimes it just happens.

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

I did that with my last duck egg, but I just popped the air cell top off, a superficial vein was bleeding but I got it stopped. The membrane was in tact. Lots of work keeping it from drying out but it pipped through the membrane then eventually hatched on its own. Lived for 36-42 hrs and died...

Any eggs left to hatch? They will be fine. It is amazing how fast they get their little feet working.

They are fine at whatever temp it is. No need to change the temp. I normally take them out around 24 hrs. But others leave them for the 72

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

This last hatch I put eggs in 5 days after the first group, which you shouldn't do, but they went into lockdown with the others so they were day 13. I didn't raise humidity till first pip but that was day 19 for others and 14 for them. The 3 hatched with no issues yesterday. So 1 day early...

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

Like @Auntiejessi3 said. day 1 is after 24 hrs in the incubator. I always think my aircells look WAY too small. the 1-2 days before hatch I have found is when they draw down and get bigger, mine rarely start that or barely start it before I candle on day 18 and put them in lockdown yet...

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

I still take hatch day off. 🤣. But I work part time and different days so just request to have that day as my day off. Or try to be good and set on a weekend. But yes my first hatch (both chicks and this last duck one) I Sat and watched the incubator for hours, not as much now. Lol

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

This was mine yesterday when it was laying down. My house was a bit warm so it was up a bit. Today my house is hot so it is up to normal but my house is also almost 80 since we had a really hot day today. Lol. Mine is set at 100 I think only because I needed it at 100 to keep an average temp...

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

I incubate at 45% humidity and lockdown at 65%. Most seem to like that with the 360. I freaked like you the first time my temp dropped during lockdown and was told it was normal. I don't even worry now and haven't had an issue. I did a hatch every 3-5 weeks from Match to the end of July last...

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

Yes the temp will be lower where they are flat.vthe top of the eggs will be a bit warmer. But yes my temp drops down around 98 for lockdown and I have never had an issue. Do you have the vent wide open? If humidity went that high I am guessing either you added too much water or it is where...

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

I don't change my temp at all. Let me see if I can see what my govee says. Of course mine is tipped over from my hatch so need to stand them up. Lol. Also is the sensor for the govee at the bottom or do u have it at the top? Temp will be lower the lower in the incubator
