So far today I’ve planted carrots, lettuce, peas and radishes in pots and some collards and icicle radish’s in the new strawberry bed. Also weeded the blueberry bed. I still need to go out and did the old strawberry bed and mulch that whole section of the garden.

Sorry I don’t check up often anymore. This thread moves so fast it’s hard to keep up! I’ve planted 20ft of onions and my first 4 potatoes. The rest of the potatoes will go in tomorrow. And this morning I’ve started my tomatoes and peppers inside.

My vote is for either some kind of pumpkin/winter squash or some kind of summer squash. Around here they tend to be low maintenance of course if you have a significant vibe borer problem squash might not be the best idea.

Picked the last of the lettuce today. Already pulled the last of the carrots yesterday. Drained hoses and outdoor pipes. Low of around 17F tonight. This is the first time it’s dropped into the teens this winter.

Has anyone had pumpkins split from to much rain? I have one that’s almost ready to pick but we may get a good bit of rain this weekend on our already saturated soil so I’m worried it might split. I know watermelons will. Would it be wise to pick it a few days early?
