Well the big eggs I have, out of 12 we have 5 left so fingers crossed. Remember my first hatch was....18 in lockdown? And 14 hatched I think? Something like that. That was fun. If only I was a hatchery. I could hatch babies all the time!

Yeah. Sucks that 6/6 didn't develop. First time seeing a 0% hatch rate. Even the last 7 had 2 make it to lockdown and 1 hatched.

Candled them one final time. All clears. I swear next time I will just wait for development and then tag for hatchalong. This is super sucky you guys.

I know. I was hoping even a couple would show development but to have one cracked to start, and then the other 6 just not develop? Harsh. :( Yes. Yes I have. 🤣 I swear I am trying to collect em all at this rate.

Also! They will be set AFTER the big eggs hatch! I can't believe they will be in lockdown in just a few days!!

The next set of Serama eggs will be shipped Monday. So hopefully I will be setting them around Friday depending on when they get here. I tried for a closer egg provider. This one is coming from Pennsylvania. Hopefully it zooms to me!

You ARE a tad late, but it's all good. As long as you cheer these babies on! Lol. They need all the cheers. They are on day 4 and still clear. I am hoping at least SOME develop. They were stuck in the mail for almost a week!

Yall. This better not be an omen. Went outside this morning to feed the chicky babies. One of my black silkie babies was dead. Just lying there. 🥺 That's 2 babies in 3 days. Went from 21 babies (turkeys included) to 19. I know I have eggs in the bator but it ain't the same. 😭
