16 set of my big group, 12 made it to lockdown. 9 hatched. Below are the last 5. And the shells

First 4 Below 3 more hatched, 3 are zipping.

Chick #4 the wet one from a brown egg.

3rd chick from a white egg.

2 out now. Black chick from a tan egg.

I did not expect them to hatch on mother's day, I was thinking the 13th. But 1 is out and the one to the far right is zipping The yellow chick is from a blue egg.

Lock down tomorrow.

I didn't set all eggs from the first page, I did select some and pulled the clears. I had 16 after the clears were removed. And then I pulled 2 quitters on day ten or so. I have 14, on day 14.

I borrowed my husband's flashlight, because it is brighter, (I keep forgetting to replace my flashlight batteries.) Not a big deal, but we had a power out and I forgot to return his flashlight to the proper location. It got sorted out. We didn't know it was a planned outage, so they could work...

A couple days in.

I like my own hens eggs the most, but I don't have a rooster on them. The eggs I set have good colors, I have found the tan, and the blue eggs will sometimes have the blue feathered chickens. The dark eggs have black chicks, BCM.

Anyone hatching on Mother's day? I have eggs due the day after, but I will probably get a few right on mother's day. From local store fridges, but all the farms are near by. They probably wash. I have hatched these before.
