Severe eye injury

His eye looks alot better but I can see down through his pupil and his dark brown iris had turned a golden color. It's hard to get him to hold still for a picture

Does he seem to act like his eye is irritating him?

I'd continue with the care routine for a few more days, then start tapering it off and see how he does.

Yes much much better. Other than I worry that he's going to be more vulnerable to predators of the sky, but he doesn't seem like it bothers him too much anymore.

Sometimes when they have an injury like this, the eye can show damage which may be permanent.

The eye looks like it's healed really well, looks good! You did a great job taking care of him and tending to the eye.
