    RSL from Privett?

I have 4 golden sexlinks from privett, typical red sexlink cross looking birds, don't have pictures as chicks but can post a couple pictures of the juveniles later if you would like

Looking for hatching eggs in Reading,PA. Affordable egg prices!

There's a family right off of 73 near Dan's Deli, has at least 1 rooster in with her red sexlinks and is selling eating eggs. Doubt she hatches so not sure what her fertility is like. About 25 min from reading. I don't know of any others but I'm sure they're around. As sally said, it is likely...

They don't get too big, the boys top out around 8 pounds usually, only a little over a pound bigger than an Ameraucana. They usually look heavy and squat because they have very loose feathering. I love bearded breeds, almost every breed I'm working with this year is bearded! lol!

Possibly, when I get over there to pick up birds I'll take a look. I swore to myself I wouldn't do waterfowl this year because of all the projects I had going on but how bad could some bantam ducks be? In other news, blue salmon faverolles eggs I had shipped in from Texas hatched. I...

    Ameracauna/EE- Buff Wheaten?

Yeah, all the ones I got in the past were signifigantly different as well. But it's the only thing I've found even relatively close, with the comb being so unusual looking...I have about 25-30 orloffs coming from 3 different hatcheries, so if it does end up being an orloff and I end up getting...

    Ameracauna/EE- Buff Wheaten?

Normally I would agree with easter egger, but even blowing the pic up, the comb is just so flat and sits so wide, I can't agree that it's a pea comb. If it's a hatchery chick, it has to be a purebred though. The only purebred breed you're going to find in a hatchery with a comb like that AND a...

Dennis has several rare breeds and varieties available now or soon as chicks, and I will probably have several extra started pullets later in the summer of various breeds and varieties available as well

Sounds like a wonderful area! although I don't think you will notice much of a difference in your tick population after you get chickens. I keep chickens mainly for eggs and for exhibition. I have kept guinea fowl in the past, which I do believe (at least in my case) made a different in the...

Berks co here :welcome it's always a trap! Mine had $1 3 week old barred rock and brown leghorn, so I picked out 2 of each with lady characteristics. Oops! What are everyone's thoughts about possibly having a large swap/get together for the thread's 10th anniversary in September 2019? :jumpy
