Thank you for your response! I probably also should have mentioned that I have 4 other hens as well & one just got over being broody so I didn’t know if the blood could have been from her. Everyone is on medicated feed at the moment.
I will use the Corrid. Do you happen to know how much I...
Sorry for the DE everywhere I’m trying to clean the coop. Is this coccidiosis or intestinal lining? I have 3 12 week old pullets and I’m just concerned they may be sick..? But they look normal, still forging together and feathers look normal.
I do have Corid on hand if you think I should use it.
I’m not sure. I just know that when I ordered them they said at pickup the 2 month olds would be fully feathered, living outside, vaccinated and dewormed.
I picked up 3 pullets from a local poultry farm on Saturday. They have been vaccinated and are on medicated feed. They seem to be happy & I’ve witnessed them drinking and eating. Making sure these babies don’t die on me makes me a nervous wreck! Please help me identify if they are ok or not...
OMG! I have two SOE that are roughly 20 weeks old and this whole time I've been thinking they are not laying when they actually could have just not been giving me green eggs! I'm so sad!!!!
So far so good all being in the main coop together. I had to show them where the roost were, poor things were trying to roost on their water jug lol. But I keep checking on them to make sure everything is ok. My husband was like “if you keep watching them you’re just gonna end up with your...
That's excellent! The babies are probably in a 42 inch kennel so it would take up a lot of space in the coop. I think whenever I get home this evening we will let them all free range again and then put them all together tonight and see. Or maybe I could place them outside the coop for tonight...
I have two 12 week old chicks that are getting a little too big for the kennel they are currently in. Do you think it’s ok to put them with my big chickens now? I have 4 hens. They all free range together on the weekends and we haven’t seen an issue. We keep the big coop door open while everyone...
Maybe? Would you recommend that I keep doing the tablespoon mixed in their water for 5 days as the guy suggested? Or switch to a little under a half a teaspoon for the remaining 3 days? I'm so sorry for my ignorance, I'm just petrified that I'm going to overdoes/kill them.
Ok thank you! Maybe it was a misunderstanding between me and the guy at the feed store but I was giving them a tablespoon. Although they've probably only drank half of the jar in a day.
