I really believe some chickens are just naturally sweet. None of the friendly birds in my flock had much human interaction, and yet some of the ones that did have a lot of interaction won't come near me! Always cherish those friendly birds. There's really something special about them.

Me too! I had a lot of interaction with 1 or 2, and they aren’t that tame. One of them that I played with since she was a chick, only now is starting to get “tame”

We named this hen “paint head” but you could also call her Dot. We called her that, because when she was a chick, she looked as if her head was “dipped” in some brown paint. Here’s a picture of her now. she is an EE.
By the what breed is Poppy? Fluffy here is also an EE

Which one is paint head? I love the name A lot of mine are named after traits I observed when they were chicks. Poppy is a Polish hen. She was a "hatchery white egg layer assortment." This was her as a 3-day old chick.

Yes I thought she was the brown one! Her feathering is the coolest color/pattern I've seen! I love it.

The black one I added, because she looks a lot like Fluffy, just black.
One of our friends, had some chicks at the same time with us, and she had one that literally looked 98% JUST alike Fluffy. I was shocked!

Oh she looks like she's got some legbar in her. I have an olive egger named "Tufty" for her head feathers. They are so amusing

The white one’s name is Hawk, she has eyes way bigger than all the other White Jersey Giants, and bigger than any other chicken! She is very tame and sweet as well. She is one of my very favorites. When she was a chick (like the other white Jersey giants) she had VERY fluffy hair, and fluffy body. They were adorable!
