I'm sorry, I posted in the wrong site. I posted before in buy and sell. My question was has anyone had trouble hatching eggs in higher altitudes. I've heard that the shells from lower altitude are different than from higher. I'm in the foothills of Colorado I believe at 7800 ft. I'm new at this...

I have trouble hatching eggs but I'm also new at this. I have heard that eggs from a lower altitude has a different type of shell, so when you try to hatch at a higher altitude they don't hatch well. I'm at I believe 7800 foot hills in Colorado. Has anyone else had this trouble or heard of...

I'm in Colorado. We are building two eight by eight coops and wanted to make sure we we're doing it right. Thanks!

Why is it very impotant to have more ventilation in your coop than a window and the small doors the chickens come in and out of. I know you need a door for yourself but in winter isn't it just making it colder for them to have vents by the ceiling.

I have a friend that buys 30 dozen eggs at a time. She cracks them & puts them in freezer bags. On receipes she uses a lot she put in each bag what the receipe calls for.
