Saw a news bullentin, then googled Chatooga GA and found the news. Apparently its another commercial chicken farm and sounds like not all birds were affected, but was not a whole lot of detail.
If anyone knows who or where I may find a buff silkie, pullet or hen would appreciate info. Have splash roo and white pullet, 12 wks. and would love to add a buff.

Has anyone experienced a rooster who has a very hoarse crow and he seems fine, eating, drinking and seems no problem. Just his crow is very coarse and harsh or no crow although he tries. Just started this with cold snap, so thinking it may be weather. Any suggestions

Looking to add a buff or white silkie hen already have @ 8 mth old roo and a 3 mth old white hen. Would like to add another silkie hen around 3 to 7 months. Anyone have info or leads would be appreciated. Thanks I am in Spalding county / Henry County.
If anyone comes across a white silkie hen, about 10 weeks to 18 weeks old that they want to sale or depart with with may have some interest. Presently have one and looking for a partner to keep her company.
spent the day at the swap also, apparently although say its Friday, Saturday and Sunday, they said really not much happens on Friday. As carcar80 said was a variety of chickens, I got caught in the chicken math again, and ended up with two silkies, one frizzle hen and a smooth roo. Alot of fun...
