Sorry I have not been active. Been working a lot but I had to share. My hatch yesterday and today was a huge success. This is only about half of what has hatched so far...
I use an old fort year old cabinet incubator my father in law have me that still works great. It has six drawers that can each hold about 200 eggs and a hatch level.
Plumtuckered: gqf or wynola ranch have great hatch rates on their bobwhite eggs.
Three weeks if you turn them several times a day. But the hatch rates drop off sharply after ten days. I usually put mine in within seven days. I start collecting in Monday and put in the incubator on Saturday.
I would love to but it would mess up my schedule. I have a hatching due on the 23rd. I put my eggs in the incubator only on Saturday. They hatch on a Tuesday so my rotation is when they hatch, my quail on the brooder are three weeks and are ready to go into cages. I will be watching though.
