I built a hatcher so i could just put the eggs in the incubator as they're laid. I posted a post this morning about an egg I got last night. Can you check it out please? I could use some opinions.

I had one do that at around 3-4 days old. I used a blow dryer on low to dry it most of the way then put it under the light on a heating pad. It's fine now :cool:

He passed during the night :-( I contacted the seller last night and she told me that I can buy Tibetan tux eggs on her website and to refer to her card that came with the eggs. I can't find the card! That chick was my favorite and I want more! Side note...I think it had a respiratory infection...

Yeah. That was just after I moved them from the bator so I let the temp in the brooder drop from 99 to 95 over the course of an hour so it wouldn't be a shock to the chicks.

No, I didn't help them. I went back and forth on it but ultimately decided to let nature take its course. One of the silly ones passed a few hours ago.

Final count, 18/21! One had a very dark shell so I was never able to candle it. I opened it and it was infertile. The remaining two were late deaths. @Kiki the final is: 26 set 4 infertile 2 early quitters 2 quit at hatch 18 total chicks. 2 of them don't look like they are doing very well...

13/21 hatched so far...more still coming 😍😍😍

That actually makes me feel a bit better about it. I desperately need to quit. Last month I was told I have a 6mm nodule in my right lung. There's about a 40% chance it's cancer but I have to wait 6 months for a rescan to see if it changes. That's obviously crazy scary but, even with that, I'm...
