    Thank you to everyone that suggested using a lower initial humidity! I had a 60% hatch rate with this last batch, and all the ones that did hatch did it on their own and are healthy!

    The temp has been very consistent throughout most of it. I would definitely get a second hygrometer to watch the humidity. Mine is off by about 6%.

    Yeah, saw the higher level recommended most places. But real life experience trumps "recommendations" any day.

    My eggs came from two local breeders at a poultry swap. I am going to be much more picky about where I get eggs in the future. Humidity during incubation was 45 to 55% and 60 to 65% during lockdown. I had one short drop in humidity during the first few days of incubation. Thanks for the pics...
