Never, ever, trust even the best incubator's readings. The Borotto is good, but even so, mine isn't perfectly calibrated.

Please don't use newspaper for flooring. It's slippery and can cause leg issues. Something like grippy shelf liner is much better, but if you don't have any of that, textured paper towels are better than newspaper.

What is your humidity at? You want to keep it around 60% now that they're hatching.

I would leave the channel dry. I've found that coturnix do best at about 30% humidity during incubation, raising it up to around 55% at lockdown.
