They were all 8 foot boards and posts, a few of them in the back we had to cut about a foot or two off of in order to fit them in with the building/tree. Your idea of turning that all into nests sounds really good! I could either try that, or move the building out of that cage and build them...
This is our cage right now, we would clean it up before putting anything inside. I also want to go around and reinforce some wire and things. Still gotta put the new tarps on too
Currently there's a large building/house in the pen that was built for chickens. It's about a foot off of the ground and fit 20+ bantam hens. The run itself has a tarp across the top to help keep it dry and warm, the back of the pen is also covered.

I've been looking into purchasing pigeons. I'm mainly interested in fantails or a type of fancy pigeon however any information you can give will be helpful. I've owned chickens, ducks, and quail. Thank you :D
