Thats zackly how I set up this! Because of the big tree I wrapped the run on 2 sides and inside there are more cages w/ 2nd floor coops for bedtime. YUP so muych fun to play with them in there safely. I also have a dust box for them :love
My birds are too spoiled to even think of getting their feetsies wet. All mine are inside a 100% covered area so no water. BUT I do have one leak that I CAN'T FIND and its making me INSANE! ;)

At least in LA you actually can have chickens, they are SO lenient on that :thumbsup
