Well, bigger than my friend’s standard bred silkie hens. Also much bigger than even a hatchery 12 week old silkie pullet’s comb. Pullets usually have very flat comb areas until they are closer to maturity.

Still sticking with a male! His comb is larger than any silkie hens’ I have seen.

Could you get more photos of the comb? It is a bit too early to be 100% sure on the gender as silkies mature very very slow.

The comb is quite large for a pullet at this age. Time will tell as silkies take a long time to mature compared to other breeds.
