No, not proper barbeque, and they make a poor introductory platter for first time bbq tasters :(. They'll go back home and tell everyone all about how barbeque is just glorified ketchup on wet soggy brisket.
Even down here every year during the rodeo all the city people pull out their best country looking outfits. None of them know the first thing about country living but at least they look natural in their ariats and grandpa's stetson.
They really had me thinking "This is exactly how an alien...
They were asking the poor minimum wage employee every question under the sun lol. And they looked like they were cosplaying country people. Outrageously large hats, roach killer boots, western jewelry (silver and turquoise), belt buckles, and designer jeans. They were a lot of head turners for sure.
Ohhhh, that makes a lot of sense. I thought you were a foreigner (I would never mean that in a bad way btw) but honestly every Californian I've met comes across a bit different than their fellow US citizens so that's probably why. It's almost like Californians are from a different planet. Just...
It's windows. So far I've been pretty good at figuring out how to use most tech, just never spent any time on a laptop except for when I was really young. It does look like an older model. I'll probably upgrade at some point since I plan on working from home and doing some online courses, but...
Yeah...
I was just recently gifted a laptop for helping my neighbor learn how to use his Canon. I haven't picked it up yet tho. It's a Dell, an old school (not as in old but like it was used in a school) laptop from what I can tell.
My local game stop still has shelves full of cartridges, and even some Gameboys. I'm tempted to buy up a couple different game boys and classic games so that my future kids can see what my childhood consisted of. Kinda like how my parents lament that I never had an arcade childhood.
I will. I love film and can't wait to try it.
We haven't delivered it to CVS yet kiddo XD
I'll probably just make a light box and capture them digitally uless they're really amazing.
They make Paper shoot cameras that capture film quality on a card. I want one just for the novelty and portability.
My first ever Gameboy was one of the chunky ones that used the big cartridges.
my last one was the Nintendo 3DS which was honestly a bit expensive for a feature that only worked on a handful of games, but I was instantly the coolest kid in my class so that was nice.
Fujica from '76
It's in great condition and from what I can tell it works. I deep cleaned it and tested all the functions, I just haven't gotten film yet.
Yeah that's partially why I want to open it up and see. Even if it's not in the best condition I'm sure some TV nerd might want it for some of the salvageable bits.
Well I wouldn't go plugging it in while it's so dusty, that's not how I want to go. I'd probably open the whole thing up and meticulously remove the dust from all the bits and pieces, plus I'd have to check for rats nests, but after doing that I might give it a go.
