First 5 breeder pens done. I already ordered 750 chicks which will be here April the 2nd. The first pic is of the fist 4 brooders being started. 9.5'x3' Which is 28 sqft. That will allow me 113 chicks per box. Still have a lot of work to do.
Lol and when I did the math on my own I came up with the same thing. I did the division both ways and what I had was doing the division backwards. I know better now. Thanks. I wonder if the seller has 100' lengths.
I'm kind of a try hard when it comes to saving money.
36"x100' = 300 sq ft. 300÷159= 1.89 per sq ft.
48"x100' = 200 sq ft. 200÷79= 2.53 per sq ft.
