Vet says she's looking okay and will do a fecal sample but thinks she's fine. Yay! The vet was great, btw. Santa Clara Pet Hospital near Kiely and Homestead. He has chickens himself. Guess I'm just nervous because of losing Jane while I was gone.

In other news, I'm taking Stella (my Sicilian Buttercup) to the vet today. She's been acting lethargic. Wanna get her checked out and make sure there's nothing that's gonna make my flock sick.

Wow - he's so gorgeous! BTW - sad to report the Jubilee egg didn't hatch. Neither did that "orange Mille Fleur". I ended up with 6 chicks total. Looks like 4 MilleFleurs and 2 something else. (One yellow that I'm guessing is one of the silverlaced and one kinda orangey that I have no idea...

Anyone near Sunnyvale have a couple of fake eggs? My Dorkings have decided to start egg eating and I want to put in some of the ceramic faux eggs to stop them. The ones on EggCartons.com are perfect but shipping is $11 for a $2.95 egg!
