i usually provide discounted hatching eggs to teachers when they ask, been doing it for 3-4 years. if they are needed you can PM me. All depends on the time of year, etc. i try and steer people away from easter hatching, you can ask for info if you care :)
you dont see sexed older chickens very often. I have one ( an oe with no blue gene) that i would be willing to part with, then I have juvies in some breeds too, but not sure on sexes.
once they have all their feathers they can be their own down blanket. They are good till under freezing. After that you want to watch they can be fine if they are used to it have a goodd coop and friends.

Dont worry about minor humidity variations, no hydrometers we get are truely accurate, so as long as its in the right ballpark, you are good. Id calibrate them usuing the salt method to make sure they are not completly out of whack, however.
