    MARYLAND THREAD!

I personally would not keep silkies with large birds. One wrong peck to the head could seriously injure a silkie.

    MARYLAND THREAD!

It's not really a good idea to mix a single silkie with Large fowl birds. They tend to get picked on.

    MARYLAND THREAD!

We get sand in bulk from the local landscaping place. I believe it is construction sand and we've never had an issue with it.

Beautiful chicks and congrats but those aren't silkies. At least not pure silkies. Their skin is the wrong color.

Those aren't pure Ameraucanas. Ameraucanas are suppose to lay blue eggs, not green eggs.

    MARYLAND THREAD!

You may find it difficult to actually find someone selling Ameraucana pullets. Whitmore Farms does sell hens sometimes but it's usually hens they are cycling out of their flock. You can still contact Will to ask if he will have any. Frankly, I would recommend chicks since you can tame them...

I was actually looking to sell out of a farmer's market and can't find much on what exactly I need to do to be able to do that. It's actually more a farm store then market.

    MARYLAND THREAD!

Do you know any testers??? I still can't get someone to come test my birds and Kim in Salisbury can't get any testers to call her back. At this point, my NPIP will default.
